Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about requesting help in Little Rock and central Arkansas.

What happens when a storm hits the whole area at once?
During a widespread event, requests are triaged by exposure — openings most likely to admit weather or unauthorized entry are reviewed first. Availability is never guaranteed for any specific address or timeframe.
What areas do you cover?
Little Rock, North Little Rock, Sherwood, Jacksonville, Benton, Bryant, and Maumelle. Coverage for a specific address depends on availability.
Do you handle both homes and commercial buildings?
Requests are accepted for residential, commercial, and multi-tenant properties. Describe the building type and frontage when you make the request.
Does submitting a request guarantee service?
No. Submitting a request does not guarantee that a provider will accept the project or arrive within a specific timeframe.
Are you the company that does the work?
Board Up Little Rock is a lead-intake and service-request platform. A separate local provider performs any accepted work and confirms scope and terms.
Should I wait for my insurance adjuster before securing the building?
Securing a building to prevent further damage is generally separate from waiting on an adjuster. Photograph everything first, then contact your insurer to confirm what your policy expects. Coverage decisions are made by your insurer.
What documentation will I get?
The responding provider documents the openings secured and the work performed. That documentation is provided by the provider, not by this website.
How long is a board-up meant to last?
A board-up is a temporary measure that holds until permanent repairs are scheduled. The responding provider can advise on the specific structure.

Storm or fire leave a building open?

Request service and a provider can assess the situation and recommend next steps. Availability depends on location and scheduling.
